About Dr. Jacquelyn Hines

Hi and thanks for visiting my website!
I hope that you find this site helpful on your journey to learning more about what services are available to assist in your health, wellness, mind-body-spirit connection, and function.
I am a Doctor of Physical Therapy and I am certified in both Neuro-Developmental Treatment and in CranioSacral Therapy. I love being a Physical Therapist and have a passion for helping adults, children, babies, and families achieve their goals using a holistic approach. I work with a wide range of diagnoses and I am confident that I am able to help each patient that I have the opportunity to treat.
I have a variety of experience over the last 19 years working with patients throughout the lifespan, from babies in-utero to the geriatric population, in outpatient clinics, private practice, in the hospital, in public and private schools, and in Early Intervention. While working with many different age groups and in many different settings, I have learned that the most important things are to listen to the patient (sometimes this is non-verbal), pay attention to the whole body, and to provide one to one, individualized, hands-on treatment.
I believe strongly in the power of human touch and the body’s innate ability to heal itself.
As practitioners’ schedules have become busier, there is less time being spent on providing hands-on evaluation and treatment. Therapy may be delegated to someone with less training and without proper supervision. It is so important to me that in my practice that I provide care that emphasizes one-to-one treatment utilizing manual therapy techniques and patient/family education.
At Connectivity, I will be your therapist treating and caring for you at each visit. You will not be passed around to other providers. You will be provided with a thorough evaluation where you can share your concerns and how you hope that I can help. This will serve as a guide for creating an individualized plan of care that we can adjust together as we need. I treat each person as they are, not as a diagnostic label suggests that they should be and I believe that positive change is always possible.
The care that I provide is with love and is patient centered, which means that you are my main focus, you will be an integral part of decision making, and you will guide our sessions to achieve your goals. I hope to empower you to take charge of your health and wellness. We will work together to improve your body's ability to find homeostasis, to improve your physical and emotional well-being, and to improve your overall function and quality of life.
