Pro Bono Care

Pro bono publico, meaning “for the public good,” refers to professional services offered voluntarily and without charge. In the context of therapeutic work, pro bono care goes beyond general volunteerism. It allows highly trained practitioners to share their specialized skills with individuals and families who may not otherwise have access to this level of support.

At Connectivity Therapy, our pro bono sessions allow for compassionate, therapeutic treatment to be provided to those in need in our community. These sessions provide assistance for healing and wellness and help remove financial barriers to care.

Who Qualifies for Pro Bono Sessions

Pro bono sessions are reserved for individuals and families who are experiencing financial constraints or who would not otherwise have access to this type of therapeutic care. We prioritize those who are navigating significant stress and medical need, as well as caregivers seeking support for their own well-being. If you’re unsure whether you qualify, simply reach out — we’re happy to guide you.

How Often These Sessions Are Offered

Pro bono availability is limited and offered seasonally, typically a few times per year. This structure allows Dr. Jackie to provide high-quality care while balancing a full clinical schedule. If you are interested, please reach out to Jessica to add your name to the list for upcoming availability and once a date is solidified for the next Pro Bono Day, you will be contacted to schedule an appointment.

What to Expect in a Session

During the 30-minute session, you will have the opportunity to share your concerns and then gentle manual therapy treatment is provided, tailored to the individual’s needs. An individual receiving treatment can expect a calm, supportive environment and hands-on techniques that encourage nervous system regulation, release of tension patterns, and whole-body integration. While brief, these sessions are meaningful and with the intention to allow for structural and functional improvements.

Our Commitment

Offering pro bono care is one way we honor our mission of making therapy more accessible. We believe that by helping those in need, by providing a calming and healing session, and by sharing this work with love, that we can contribute to positive changes in those we are able to serve. We ask that you continue to pay it forward and be salt and light in the world.
